special projects & collaborations

I’m really keen to contribute some time to the wider sector in the months and years ahead. I’m not yet sure where this might take me! But I can group my interests into three particular areas:

1) Collaborations

I love to collaborate and take part in forums and discussions which are focused on pooling our collective fundraising and development knowledge, and on sharing best practice as widely as we can.

2) Pro Bono/Volunteering

I’d also really like to give some time to some specific causes to help them with their strategy and fundraising goals, whether as an advisor, volunteer or Trustee.

3) Philanthropic Advisory Services

I love working with philanthropists, from first-timers to seasoned donors. I’d like to develop this aspect of my portfolio, and work with individuals, companies or trusts who are looking for causes to give to, and who would like some help with finding the right causes for them. This might mean anything from research and due diligence, to facilitating fact-finding project visits and negotiating recognition and making recommendations for ongoing stewardship.
